Capromo® for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), NYHA class II–III in companion animals.
$369.00
Description
Capromo® is the Mutian protocol supply for companion animals with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) — a thickening of the heart muscle that can obstruct blood flow and place affected cats and dogs at risk over time. Capromo® is intended for the obstructive form of HCM in the NYHA class II–III range, where clinical signs are present but the animal is still managed on an outpatient basis.
Capromo® is given as a once-daily oral tablet as part of an ongoing cardiac management plan. A typical starting point is 0.5 mg once daily, with the attending veterinarian titrating from there based on the animal's weight, response, and follow-up cardiac assessment. Capromo® is designed to fit alongside existing cardiac care: it is compatible with ACE inhibitors (ACEI) and diuretics, so it can usually be added to a regimen an animal is already on without disrupting it. As with any cardiac protocol, dosing changes and monitoring are directed by the veterinarian.
Capromo® is supplied as 1 mg tablets, 28 tablets per box. Because the daily amount is small and titrated, the pack is sized to cover a full management interval between veterinary re-checks.
Technical details: manufactured under GMP-certified conditions. Capromo® is supplied for the ongoing observational management of obstructive HCM under veterinary guidance; outcomes are tracked as observational response over the management period rather than as a guaranteed cure.
