I am posting for my foster cat Naya. She’s about 2 years old and the vet diagnosed stomatitis last month. We are trying the Mutoral pills before doing a full extraction to see if it will clear up so she can keep her teeth. I’m hoping to document the process so here are her “before” photos from today.

Day 2 on Mutoral:
Quick update on Naya. 24 hours after her first dose I noticed her playing with a toy. In the month I’ve had her I’ve never seen her do that. Her gums look about the same.
To be honest I did it realize until this afternoon that it’s supposed to be 2 days a day so I missed this morning. I’ll start up two daily tomorrow.
This is day 6:
I think there is still lots of inflammation but possibly a little less. This photo was taken on day 4. One of her biggest issues is sneezing and spraying blood when she does it. I thought it might be from the stomatitis but there was also a chance it was from a URI. Either way, I’ve noticed less of the blood which I take of course as a good thing.
