Effective: There has been improvement in spirit, appetite, and drooling. The pain index has decreased, the ulceration area in the mouth has decreased, and the redness and/or hyperplasia area has reduced by 20% to 50% compared to before medication. The cat is eating more than before. There is saliva in the mouth, but it does not flow out. There has been no significant increase in weight.
Tashue, male, 1 year and 7 months old, weighs 3.75kg, suffering from oral inflammation in the back of the mouth.
Second round of medication: Mutoral spray twice a day; Mutoral oral tablets once a day; consumed 85g of canned food and a small amount of dry food. The cat's spirit is still good, and the redness and swelling have slightly subsided.
On the tenth day of medication, Mutoral spray was administered twice a day, and Mutoral oral tablets once a day. The swelling on the gums in the front of both sides has visibly subsided, but there is still swelling in the back gums. The cat has increased its intake of dry food, and its spirit is much more lively than usual.
On the 14th day of medication, Mutoral spray was administered twice a day, and Mutoral oral tablets once a day. There is excessive saliva in the mouth, and the condition of the gums is the same as before. The cat consumed 80g of canned food and a small amount of dry food, and its spirit is normal.
On days 33-35 of medication, there has been some improvement in spirit, appetite, and drooling. The cat is eating more than before. There is less saliva. There has been no significant increase in weight, but the cat is much more lively than before.
From day 36 to 41 of medication, there is mild pain in the mouth, recurrent redness and continuous drooling. The black chin has reappeared twice after being wiped. The cat is not eating much, just a few bites of dry food each day. Its spirit is relatively calm, and it occasionally shakes its head and opens its mouth to swallow saliva. The spray and oral medication are still being used, and occasionally some liquid vitamin B is also being fed.
On days 42-43 of medication, the cat's food intake has decreased significantly. Yesterday, while eating, it suddenly scratched its mouth and cried out in pain for about two minutes. Last night, it also experienced pain while swallowing saliva, scratching its mouth and tilting its head, and then became drowsy.
Days 44-46 of medication, the sensation of mouth pain has intensified, and the redness is more severe than before. There is continuous drooling, and the black chin has reappeared twice after being wiped. The cat has not eaten for three days, and its spirit is relatively calm, constantly hiding and avoiding people. It continues to shake its head, open its mouth, hiss, and scratch its mouth while swallowing saliva. On the 15th, received boxed tablets, but there was no progress on that day. The same on the 16th. On the evening of the 16th, upon inspecting the mouth, the condition was more severe than before.
