Shortcake is heading into her second week of Mutoral I. The poor thing has endured three surgeries and countless medications since early 2023. I felt so bad because I watched her change; she was no longer the silly, fun-loving furbaby I rescued four years ago after some kids thought it would be "fun" to drown her in a bucket. Thank goodness someone got to her before it was too late. She's been a little fighter her entire life, and we're going to kick stomatitis' butt!

Well, Shortcake is spunky again, and I laughed so hard as she was setting up her perfect spot. I can't get her to hold still long enough to take pictures, but thank goodness she's chatty. That's how I can see her now healthy pink, and not fire-engine red mouth.

Thank you all for being here! Mutian not only saved the lives of two of my cats from FIP, but they're doing it all over again with stomatitis.

On July 6th

Shortcake is in her third week of treatment! This is the closest I've come to taking a picture. Believe me when I say, that's a beautiful toofless mouth, and she's even showing off her freckles. There was a lesion growing near her throat that would have cut off her ability to eat, but it's nearly gone! We're not even close to being finished with treatment!

My iPhone camera labeled her as Siberian! She was once a kitty from Piedmont, Missouri, and now she's a purebred! She's even back to annoying her furblings, especially Eleanor, aka the three-legged assassin!

Thank you, Mutian, for healing my baby! First, Mutian cured two of my wet FIP boys, and now it's working wonders on stomatitis! I never thought I'd see her happy, cuddly, and playful again, and look at her! And this is just our third week! Thank you again for working hard to save our kitties!

I got so used to Shortcake rolling up into a ball and not wanting to be touched.

Look at that beautifully calm, fluffy baby! It's what Caturdays are all about!
