Monkey Fight FCGS
Cat's name: Monkey
Case code: Tooth extraction group
Weight change: Gain
Duration of medication: 30 days (with one day of interruption)
Recovery progress: The cat's spirits, appetite, and excretion are all very good, with no changes. There is a slight regrowth in the back of the oral cavity, and the lower jaw is basically healed, with pinkish color, significantly better than a month ago and also better than the last check-up (ten days ago) (see photo from September 6th). However, the cat has not been to the hospital for the doctor to take photos. I personally opened the mouth to take a look, so it may not be accurate. The cat is taking oral anti-inflammatory medication, lactoferrin, and Fanzhiyi every evening.
"Photo before medication"
Days 1-8 of medication, the cat's spirits, appetite, and excretion were all normal, with no abnormal changes. No other medications were taken. The appearance of the mouth showed no changes, still with a slight redness.
On the 9th day of medication, there was no drooling, and the appetite and spirits have been consistently good. There was a noticeable improvement in the condition of the oral cavity.
On the 12th-13th day of medication, the cat's yawning revealed a significant reduction in redness in the oral cavity compared to the previous day. The cat's spirits and appetite remained very good, with no drooling and normal excretion. The cat continued to take oral anti-inflammatory medication, lactoferrin, and Fanzhiyi every evening. The redness around the mouth also decreased compared to the previous day.
Days 14-17 of medication, on the morning of September 4th, there were no changes in the cat's spirits, appetite, and excretion. There was improvement in the oral cavity, with regrowth and redness still present in the back of the oral cavity, and the inside of the lower jaw had not fully healed both up and down, showing slow progress. The cat continued to take oral anti-inflammatory medication, lactoferrin, and Fanzhiyi every evening. There were no significant changes in the oral regrowth, but the redness and swelling inside the lower jaw had improved.
Day 20-24 of medication (with one day of interruption in between):
The cat's spirits, appetite, and excretion have been very good with no changes. There is still regrowth and redness in the back of the oral cavity, and the inside of the lower jaw has not fully healed both up and down, showing slow progress. The cat continued to take oral anti-inflammatory medication, lactoferrin, and Fanzhiyi every evening. The redness inside the oral cavity varies, sometimes more pronounced and sometimes lighter.
Days 43-48, Changes in body weight: 4.3
Duration of medication: 10 days with the official new medication
Progress of recovery: There have been no changes in spirits, appetite, or excretion. The lower part of the inside of the lower jaw has shown significant improvement in the ulceration compared to the last visit to the hospital, but I cannot open my mouth. I will try to go to the hospital today or tomorrow to take more photos for confirmation. The cat continued to take oral anti-inflammatory medication and mouthwash every evening.
