Lucky fight FIP story
Name: Lucky
This is Lucky. He is a beautiful, sweet Flame Point Siamese that I fostered, and loved so much that my Mom adopted him. She has never had a cat, and she is a widow. Shortly after she got him, she noticed that he was not eating, and he was very lethargic. (Last picture). As a foster, I was familiar with FiP and our vet suggested another brand of treatment. We went through the entire course of treatment, and he relapsed in just under a week. This time it was much worse, and he could not walk at all. His eyes were constantly moving, he was extremely lethargic and would not eat at all. Our vet was worried he would not make it. We started with Mutian, and within a couple of days, he was eating and running! His dose was very high, and he had to have multiple shots, twice a day for awhile, but he is now officially cured - 90 days off of treatment!! He weighs almost 14 lbs, and you can't tell he was ever sick! We are so thankful for Nancy Schmidt-Moulen for helping us save him!!
