Clover fight FIP story

Name: Henry

March 5

Hi everyone, here's my little girl Clover and our story... Toward the end of December, my girl got very sick. My vet suspected FIP but couldn't give me a definite diagnosis. It was around the holidays so things were backed up at the lab, and as I waited and waited for the results, my girl just continued to get worse and worse. She was on death's door, and I thought I was going to lose her. I took a chance and ordered Mutian, hoping it would help her. Within less than 24 hours of her first dose, she made a significant turnaround, and her fever broke! Nancy Schmidt-Moulen helped guide me through this challenging time with my girl, and continues to be an amazing resource and cheerleader. In the beginning we struggled a lot with her appetite and getting her eating on track, but she was still like a whole new kitty. Eventually her appetite came back and she started eating plenty on her own. Day by day she began improving more and more, and becoming her old self again before she got sick. Fast forward to today, and we are on day 67 of treatment (out of 84 days)! After today's dose we only have 17 more doses to go before the observation period starts! Today my Clover is thriving, living her best life with her brother Finn, super playful, back to being her chunky little self, and she is more ornery than she has ever been in her entire life! This medication is a miracle drug. I would have lost my girl without it, and now because of this treatment my baby will get to see her second birthday with her brother on St. Paddy's Day (littermates)! I'm hopeful that she will be fully cured of this horrible disease! Don't lose hope, this treatment works. My Clover is living proof.

April 22

Clover's 4 week post treatment labs came back looking great! In 8 weeks we will do one more round of labs. If all is well with those results, and no sign of relapse between now and then, she will be officially considered cured of FIP!!! Thank you Nancy Schmidt-Moulen and Mutian for everything!
